Details: Join award-winning author and artist Caren Loebel-Fried for this special event featuring her new picture book. The book is set on Midway Atoll, where Loebel-Fried spent five weeks counting and researching albatrosses. She will share her love of wildlife and passion for conservation through art and story. Guest speaker Cynthia Vanderlip will be on hand to discuss her experiences on Kure Atoll. Copies of the book will be available for sale after the presentations, as well as original framed art and giclees from the book. Free; however, a $5 donation is greatly appreciated.

THE BIRTH OF KAHUKU
